“ODD & YUMMY”

Over the last (maybe) ten years now I’ve had the privilege of shuffling and distorting old woodcut illustrations together in the hopes of translating feelings and flavors into a weird enough wrapping for these wines. So far so good. Typically the brief is a synopsis of or a quote from a film as inspiration: once I watched a whole vampire movie set in Iran before starting a label, “A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night”. Once I watched the film “Solaris” for inspiration. There’s been many others. All at the request of the client. And to be honest, I love that that’s where they begin, that’s the headspace they’re asking me to get into. Dream projects.
